Hey all,
My outboard engine is a Yamaha two-stroke 8 HP.
My fuel got contaminted with water. After cleaning the fuel tank and getting
new fuel i tried to get the engine restarted.
After a LOOOONG while starting it coughed back to life but only for a short
while.after it starts a have to rev it up immediatly or it will stall
again.I put in new sparkplugs but the same happends.
Any idea what i can do to get it running smooth again??

Regards Boldy

Drain the carburettor, Sounds like you may have water in the bowl.
