Minimum distance between VHF and cellular antennas? - Is there a mimimum mounting distance between a 6db VHF antenna and a 3db cellular antenna?

Combining multiple VHFs on single ant - I have a VHF installed in our cabin with only a remote speaker in cockpit. Instead of replacing the unit with a newer VHF with remote mic and/or station options, I would like to simply add another standard VHF radio at the helm and share the antenna..

2 VHFs sharing 1 VHF antenna - I have an Apelco VHF mounted in the nav station with a remote speaker in the cockpit. A Raymarine handheld is kept near the helm. Of course the handheld has nowhere near the range of the fixed VHF below. Instead of replacing the good] Apleco..

* I have a poll going over on:

http://www.yachtforums.com/forums/technical-discussion/8659-cellular-f...yachts-

I would appreciate if anyone has any comments on this to go an post on
there. And please vote in the poll as to wether or not you would get fax
over cellular if cellular companies (e.g. AT&T) supported it?

Thanks,

SELLphones DO support fax!

http://www.efax.com/

Have your own fax number in as many countries as they support if you like.
Doesn't matter where YOU are. Send faxes via Email.

You'll need a scanner and printer, of course. HP makes great little
printers with scanners in the top of them. Mine has Bluetooth to connect
my little Nokia N800 Linux tablet to. Scan to a file, email to efax, other
end's fax machine runs out of paper. What could be easier? Oh, yeah,
email the damned thing direct to them in the first place instead of
backpedalling into 1949.

But, if you MUST....efax.com/

Tether your laptop or tablet to the SELLphone via BT DUN or cable. Alltel
charges $25 for unlimited internet data, here.

It's slower than dirt and costs like rhodium, but Iridium tethers, too!

Rhodium cleared $9,400/oz this week!
