We have a Verizon Aircard which we have used for Internet during the
Great Loop trip and it really has worked well. We plan to go to
Montreal, Ottawa, down the Rideau to Kingston, ON, up the Trent-
Severn, across the North Channel of Lake Huron and then back to Lake
Superior.

Has anyone had experience with an Aircard up there?

Are there other options?

No direct experience in the subject area but going through same analysis
for Newfoundland.

I found this site helpful.

The coverage maps on verizon.com showed nothing above the border - why
am I surprised! Wink Maybe you could contact the people you pay for
your service and ask them if they serve the area. Many marinas have
wireless Internet now, -maybe someone has compiled a list (googling
'Lake Ontario wireless Internet marinas' got lots of links).
