Use Sierra/NAPA # 18-3394 kit(includes impeller) to get all small parts
you will need.

Put shifter in forward.

Don't forget the hidden bolt under the trim tab.

Use care in aligning water tube into pump body.

Lube splines before reassembly, renew o-ring.

Hi Clams,

You have a 1994 48 Special

water pump kit #438592, includes the housing and is recommended for this 12
year old motor.
impeller only #432941

Get a service manual to become familiar with the procedure and to know how
to check the shift rod height adjustment before installing the gearcase.

Good luck

Bill Grannis

I did one on an 88 special... so if the procedure is about the same... I can
wing it.

Thanks!

Seriously.... yes. I can find it a good home in total or in parts. I'm
sure of that.

Hey Clams,

I have a friend who has an old Tower of Power Merc that needs a wiring
harness. What options does he have to repair/replace?

If there's any hope I'll get the exact info from him.
