Hi Folks,
There has been a last minute change in our pool session times and
dates for the Staples H.S. session in Westport We have been moved to
Sundays from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm. Please check our website for last
minute changes in schedule or cancellations.

Pool Rolling sessions 2004

2 Locations:
Staples High School, We
Suffield Academy, Suffield

These sessions are for anyone who is looking to learn the basics of
kayaking, Learn the Eskimo roll, or just wants to keep the rust off
their paddling skills. There will be volunteer instructors at every
session. Instruction is generally one on one, in a very casual and
friendly atmosphere. Limited amounts of paddling gear will be available
on a first come first serve basis. All locations are in large, clean
heated pools with shower and locker room facilities. A per session fee
will be collected to cover pool rental. volunteer instructors will not
have to pay pool fees. Everybody is welcome! To sign up, please call by
the night before if possible.

Please note:
ALL boats brought to sessions MUST be thoroughly cleaned INSIDE AND OUT
previous to sessions, or the boats will not be allowed in pools.
There is no boat washing allowed at facilities!

Staples High School
70 North Ave. Westport, CT

Dates:
Sunday's. Jan. 11,18,25
Feb. 1,8,15,22,29.
Note change of time and date!!
Sessions will be from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm.

Fee: $10.00
$8.00 for Active AMC Member


SPECIAL NOTE:
Due to security concerns at the school, the doors will only
be open from 8:00 am to 8:20 am.

LATE COMERS WILL NOT BE ALLOWED IN!
So make sure that you are at the school early!!!!!

Directions To Suffield Academy:

Traveling North on Interstate 91:
About 10 miles north of Hartford, take exit 40. Go to the second exit,
and take a right onto Route 75 North. Follow Route 75 for about 5 miles
into Suffield. In the middle of town, after two consecutive traffic
lights, you will see the school across the green on your left.

Traveling South on Interstate 91:
In Springfield, Massachusetts, take exit 3. At the base of the exit
ramp, bear to the right and follow signs for Route 5 North
(Agawam/Southwick). You will immediately cross the Connecticut River;
take the first exit at the end of the bridge. After pausing at the base
of the ramp, go 3/4 the way around the rotary and bear right on to Route
57 (Agawam/Southwick). Take Route 57 for 2 miles and leave the highway
at the Route 75 (Agawam/West Springfield) exit. At the traffic light,
take a left on to Route 75 South. After traveling on Route 75 for 6.2
miles, you'll see Suffield Academy on your right across from the town green.<!-- ~MESSAGE_AFTER~ -->
