However, I can in fact agree with your comment that everyone should do their
homework and understand the requirements and regulations before committing
to a boat purchase in the USA.
Nevertheless, once you posses a firm understanding of the requirements (i.e.
taxes, registration requirements, etc), it will allow an individual to
evaluate if purchasing and importing that specific boat from USA is
economically a sound alternative.
