I hate to write this, because like Bob I would buy the whole
collection you've listed, but you would probably make more money on
eBay.

Sorry about your husband.

Yes, sell the books on eBay. You will get much more than your asking price.
Some of the books you list are rare and difficult to find.
For example, I routinely bid on the John Leather book for $ 50.00 and can't
win.
You ask only $ 21.60.
The 2 Colvin's are also rare.
There is a good crowd bidding on boat building books at eBay.

What an absolutely non-self-serving wonderful thing to suggest. Must be folks
that appreciate the hard work and enjoyment which comes from building and
sailing/rowing/whatevering their own boats are also closer to their fellow
man.

Hat's off to you all!

Best in boating.

I appreciate the help. As you can most likely tell, I am over my head here.
I have taken your advice and started to list the books on ebay. I have
started with the two by Learther and By Colvin.

I will take more pictures and add more each day. I will limit the time to 3
days of auction time. There are 54 tittles in total and then boxes of many
different type of magazines that I will list in bundles. I think I have my
work cut out for me.
Now if you happen to know how I market two, what appear to be antique
possibly Chestnut strip and canvas canoes........
Thanks so much for your good sporting attitude.Safe Boating. patty--anne<!-- ~MESSAGE_AFTER~ -->

Before bidding on the Leather book, I checked my bookshelves and I have it .
.. .
Sorry, I forgot that I won an eBay auction last year but I paid close to $
50.00.
I will bid on some other ones.

I think you probably have just made the single most effective marketing move
you could have for those two.

The Colvin 2 volume originals are fairly rare, but not all that hard
to find. The paperback combined volume is available new. Well worth
having, too.
