Bill,

Tried this off list but kept getting a bounce.

I would like to know how the Poli Prep works. Is it a liquid or a paste
and how is it applied? Does it require a polisher or is merely rinsed
off?

Is Poli Glow itself a liquid and how is it applied. The website
mentions an applicator - what is it?

Really appreciate any information you can provide. I have a '93 Gemini
3400 that is oxidized and the prospect of compounding, cleaning and
waxing is not something I look forward to; besides it sure cuts into
sailing time.

Cheers,
Ed

It's a liquid, about the consistency of liquid dish soap. The
applicator is pretty basic. It's a piece of chamois wrapped around a
cushioned block of wood. No polishing - you just wipe it on. The
initial prep is critical and requires some effort. If your boat is
really oxidized, I'd probably recommend that you compound it one last
time. After that, the annual routine maintenence is minimal. That's
where the big labor and time savings come in. The other benefit, of
course, is that your boat will have "the wet look" all season.
