Post subject: Back from vacation
Archived from groups: rec>boats (more info?)

I just got back from a much needed vacation in Puerto Vallarta bringing back
50 pounds of Jack Caravelle does anyone have a recipe for this red meated
fish, according to the charts it's a wonderful fighter but not a good eater.
I hope I didn't bring home 50 pounds of bait. If you go to Puerto Vallarta
be sure and eat at El Set!

Now that the vacation is under my belt I can get started on my 1986 100 HP
Comm., Johnson that I ordered parts for yesterday. I'm going with Jim's
excellent idea of removing the VRO system and installing a Holley "blue"
fuel pump and pressure regulator. The other necessary parts ordered were
Carb kits, thermostat kit, and a new water pump and the small hoses that are
18 years old, did I forget anything? The people at Boating Solutions, Inc
called right away correcting my order for the Commercial motor and were very
helpful with the hoses and the fuel pump also.

Mick
