Harry, there will undoubtedly be some who find your offensive behavior
appealing and give you an answer. Personally, I'd pay you little attention,
although for the amount of drift fishing you do, you might try chewing gum.

Good old 5200 should do the trick.

Here's another I've tried with excellent results:

5200 and some self tapping screws to hold it in place while the 5200
sets, is way to easy of a solution. I just wonder if Harry will ever
actually use this boat or will he just take photos of it.

Drill a hole in the gunwale of your new ride and put in a rod holder
with a backing plate.

Glue a rod holder to an Igloo cooler, come on. If you kook into one of
those 48" rocks it will pull you cooler over the side, let alone a 36"
blue who will pull your cooler out of the boat into the water and rip
the glued rod holder off and bye bye rod.

Wait, I thought he was going to glue the cooler to the boat just so that
wouldn't happen!

Shit, I'd give him an answer if I had one, you take his taunting and
political spewisms way to seriously. Besided I think it's great that
Harry is boating again, almost. But anyway, I don't know of anything
that would chemically bond short of welding something to the sides. I
have however made reasonable mechanical bonds using a razor blade to
score plastic parts. Hold the razor at a sharp angle not just straight
on so as to create grip points, don't spare the destruction and then
use epoxy to mount hold downs or the board. Don't try to just rough it
up with a scraper or sandpaper, you need to make negative grip points,
a good tight crosshatch pattern. I think I would be able to make the
bond with good two part epoxy and some aerosil. I would probably rub
some shredded glass in there too. If you want more info, you have my
email above.

But he has a low transom so it won't be hard for him to jump overboard
and get back on board.

Get a hardtop with rocket launchers. That should give you five or six
additional rod holders.
