VS finally televised the first race of the Americas Cup in Valencia. It
consisted of two races run simultaneously. However, a major wind shif from
the NW to the E on the final leg forced teams to go to jib and tack on the
last leg (which was supposed to be a run!).
This race should have been cancelled.

Ah, things are better. Today's race was won by the Yankee boat, but only on
the last downwind leg to the finish - great stuff (maybe not if you're
Italian!). Great start by Prada and Mr. Spithill.
