Has anyone had any problems with the impeller stripping the threads off
the stator? I would like to find out why this happens. This is the 2nd
time it has happened to me. Is the impeller being installed correctly?
Any help is welcome.

?????? Are you talking about the threads on the pump shaft that the
impeller screws onto??
There is only one way for the impeller to be screwed onto the shaft and
then it bottoms out and you torque it.

Yes, I am talking about the pump shaft. Do you know if thread lock is
required? The instuctions that where given to me(on installation of the
impeller) were not clear. When I bought the ski it already had a bad
shaft. The one I put on last year is going bad this year.
Thanks for your help.
