I was wondering if anyone had an estimate on having the carbs rebuilt on a
93 Polaris SL 650? Thanks in advance!

Does $25 sound like a good number? I think your best bet is to call your
mechanic and ask him for an estimate, or else do the job yourself. It really
doesn't matter what anyone else thinks it should cost.

Ask a stupid question, get a stupid answer. If you want the price of a part
that's one thing..... If you want the price for labor you'd be best off
asking whomever is doing the job. Just because you or me thinks he should do
it for $3.50 doesn't mean he will do it for a nickel less than $500. In
other words..... call around and get some estimates. Keep in mind that
cheapest doesn't equal best.

If you have any more stupid questions, feel free to say nothing........

It wasn't a stupid question... but he certainly did get a stupid answer.
You could have simply told him that you're an idiot and don't have a clue.
Would have saved time.

same way, thanks Giz.
I have all the labour estimates i need, was looking for parts to see if I
could come out better buying them myself b/c my mechanic doesnt keep them on
hand for my ski and would have to order them anyway..
and as far as cheapest doesnt mean best ...I KNOW!I am trying to save time
b/c i work for a living and a dollar or two b/c I work hard for a living. no
one likes to overpay; only probably morons like yourself
so again, seeing how everything youve said thus far has been of no use or
help to me or anyone else you should have just said nothing

It wasn't very nice of you to refer to Giz as an idiot after he stuck up for
you like that. But on the other hand anyone who would post several hundred
messages arguing with the likes of ricky g would tend to fall into that
category.
