First I want to thank you all for your help.
As I said earlier I got this jetski dirt cheap. I know this is a
really underpowered jetski (~32 hp) but since it's free I thought I
would use it as a winter project to fix it up (clean it up) and see if
I can tweek it a little more. The impeller is origional and looks
like it needs replacing. I also know that who ever owned it
origionally really didn't take good care of the hull. The fiberglass
hull looks like it's taken a lot of abuse. Do they make anything to
fill in the scratches in fiberglass so I can repaint the lower hull?
I can say I have used this jetski a few times in the past 2 years and
the engine is still in good condition and seems to be mechanicially in
good shape for it's age. I guess what I'm really asking is, what would
you guys do to this "project" without spending a lot of money on it?
I ordered a manuel for this jetski to get to know the basics (spark
plug gap, service intervals) so that should answer some of the basic
questions.
Thanks again for the help!<!-- ~MESSAGE_AFTER~ -->
