Where can I buy a water bypass kit for my ZXI?
Also, how much compression can an engine have before premium fuel is needed.
Any ideas for inexpensive hop-ups for my boat?

Maybe you can find a "dovetail" Westcoast intake grate to fit it!

best cheap mods for that ski would be 150 psi head (93 octane) .bore the jet
nozzle out to 86 mm .( improves bottom end and a little on top). a skat trak
custom pitch of 11.5/18.5 swirl prop will greatly improve the hole shot and mid
range. You will always be fighting the 140 mm pump in that ski and cannot
cheaply change it to the 148 mm 1100 pump.Good luck,a mildly modded 900 is a
bit faster than a stock 1100.scott

The 1100 pump will not just bolt in.You would have to change the pump shoe out
and modify the hull intake track.
