I have a 1991 Kawasaki 650 SC. (Wide seat) Every once and a while it will
die. I am trying to rule out overheating, but I can't find where the water
stream comes out from cooling the engine. When I stop I can touch the engine
for a second. It is hot but not super hot. Any help???

need more info

like
" im riding at full throttel and after 5 min it dies "

and try to note the color of your sparkplugs (take them out to look at the
electrode part )

there should be a bypass fitting on the side
and it should pump water when the engine is running ( it might take a sec or 2
)

You're right in your discription. I ride at almost full throttel and after
about 15 min it dies. However when I switch to reserve, it runs fine again.
I have taken out the in tank filters and cleaned them. I did find the bypass
fitting, but nothing comes out at idle. I read somewhere that a 650 won't
shoot any stream at idle. Is this so? We're having a storm here today, I
will check the plugs as soon as its over. But I would like to exclude
overheating. Any thoughts?
